Charles F. Hollis III, Esq.

Charles F. Hollis, III (“Chuck”) was born in Covington, Kentucky. He is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University (B.A. History & Political Science, summa cum laude), the University of Cincinnati College of Law (J.D.), and the University of Helsinki Faculty of Law (LL.M. International Law) in Finland. He has also done coursework at the State Pushkin Institute for Russian Language, and Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Mr. Hollis has been practicing law for nearly 11 years. He is licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Mr. Hollis is the chairman of BY&H’s immigration law practice. The practice covers many aspects of immigration law, ranging from family and employment-related matters, to asylum, naturalization and citizenship matters. He speaks Russian, has a working knowledge of French and German, and is now learning Polish. Mr. Hollis has assisted clients from approximately 80 different countries with their immigration matters.

Mr. Hollis’ practice also entails a variety of other fields, including: international law, trial and appellate practice, personal injury, and insurance law.

Mr. Hollis is no stranger to the courtroom. He has been the lead counsel in sixteen jury trials and approximately forty arbitrations.

Mr. Hollis is President of the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana Sister Cities Coalition. He serves on the Board of the Cincinnati-Ukraine Partnership, and is also a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cincinnati.

Mr. Hollis is a Russia scholar, having lived, worked and studied in Moscow on multiple occasions. His favorite pastimes include international travel, reading (especially world history and classic literature), tennis, photography and classical music. Mr. Hollis resides in northern Kentucky with his wife Angelika, who is a native of Poland, and their son Ian.
