Kenwood Towne Place: The Back Story

When his clients weren't getting paid for the work they had done on the Kenwood Towne Place project Tom Yocum went to work.  He created an experienced legal team to pursue their claims and worked tirelessly to build a coalition of small subcontractors capable, as a team, of winning a long legal battle. Marked by an innovative approach to billing and legal relationships, the small coalition of subcontractors prevailed against long odds and opponents with access to far more resources.

A Lesson in Greed

At the February 11, 2015 meeting of the Cincinnati Chapter of CSI the KTP  Team participated in a round table discussion of the Kenwood Towne Place litigation.  Tom Yocum, Pat O'Neill and Julie Neuroth - the KTP Team - answered questions in a round table seeting with John Kraft of Kraft Electric, Monroe Barnes of MBJ Consultants and Jeff Jarvis of Jarvis Mechanical.

Over eighty (80) people attended the event, including reporters from the Cincinnati Enquirer, who wrote the article linked below.

Judgment Against Daniels

On January 21, 2015 fifteen (15) clients - referred to herein as the Kraft Group - represented by the Kraft Team at BYH agreed to entry of $2.0 Million judgment plus interest at a rate of 12% against Matt Daniels.  In 2013 BYH settled claims the Kraft Group brought against Bank of America, another defendant in the Kenwood Towne Place litigation. Click on this Link to View a PDF Copy of the Judgment.
