Lisa M. Bitter, Esq.

Lisa has been practicing law since 1991, and is licensed to practice in the state of Ohio and the Federal District and Appellate Courts for the Sixth Circuit. Lisa is Chair of the Probate and Estate Planning Department.

Lisa concentrates her practice in the areas of probate administration, estate planning, guardianships and step-parent adoptions. She also has a general civil law practice which includes insurance defense with emphasis in the defense of personal injury casualty claims, personal injury law, employment law, real estate law, contract law and the defense of OSHA citations.

Lisa has been a member of the Cincinnati and Ohio State Bar Associations since 1991, the Cincinnati Claims Association and the Estate Planning and Probate Committee and Elder Law Committee of the Cincinnati Bar Association. Lisa is also a frequent speaker on the topics of Estate Planning and Probate Administration for organizations throughout Greater Cincinnati.

Lisa graduated with Summa Cum Laude Honors from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences. After undergraduate college, Lisa graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and was the recipient of the Outstanding Graduate Student Award.

After receiving her Master’s Degree, Lisa worked in hospital environments and in private practice as a speech language pathologist before deciding to go to law school. Lisa attended Ohio State University Law School on an academic scholarship. During law school, Lisa married a Cincinnati native and then transferred to the University of Cincinnati Law School where she completed her Juris Doctorate degree.
